Great pic for a few questions... Is this boat wood or fiberglass? Is the capsule designed to break away like ours are (dragboats). I heard or read that if these landed upside down there is an onboard air bag system that will either right the boat or at least get the capsule above the water...

The river is like 40 ft deep with a nice little current and Kebin still managed to nose it into the mud. He was in the capsule for less than 5 min, but said it seemed like forever. He was fine, but bummed about the boat. Boat is Hot Licks owned by Dennis and Carla Gibson outta Texas.

Is that a skag? Forward rudder...surely not. I have never seen the bottom of one of these.
