180 hours in freshwater on a lift in a garage. very little sun, no rain, wind or water for most of its life. It might as well be in your bathtub!

That's retail I hope. Their new replacement program was going to be alot more cost effective, so I have heard. I spoke with Stellings a while back and they thought that because of my staggered set-up, their headers wouldn't be a quick bolt on exchange installation.

I have about 180 hours as of right now. Every year I do new impellers and housings at the beginning of the season.

Both my friend and I have 525's with the original headers from 2004. Neither one of us has had a problem yet. I will pressure test this season, but I think that the header failure rate has to be a salt water issue. Anyhow, it would be nice to know how much the replacements would cost when needed.

I like this boat alot because it so different. I think the wood is cool and the overall cockpit high end looking, kinda like a yacht. The outside is great looking and the paint nice as well. As far as the rest of the boat? It is a tried and proven Skater,not some new hull design that will need...

Its always sad to see someone cut their toys loose due to the economy.

Pressure stays more consistent with fluctuating temperatures. Less likely to set off a tire pressure monitor with temp changes. Other than that, alot of hype.

Seems that Cig, OL, MTI, Skater, Nortech plus a few others are doing OK. Its good to hear that Donzi is OK as well.

This is not normal. Either the boat was rushed for the show or there was a quick repair in that area for some reason. Cig is second to no one for fit and finish.

Most of the photographs don't do the boat any justice. But, I have seen certain photos that make the boat look great. Either way, it still was an impressive joint venture pulled off by Skip.
