The Cougar moulds are in England and still being used, the moulds you have seen where a set of copies that where splashed from one of our hulls in the late 80's

Old Bertram hull sat in UK yard
Saw this old one sat in a boat yard on the Hamble river last week, I understand it has a good racing history, it was raced by a John Willment, his family still own it
Hey I built the moulds for this back in 1988, the first boats were built for the UIM 4 litre class but several were made for 6 litre and many procuced for pleasure, any chance of some pictures of this boat that is for sale.

Na you are wrong, one picture is the 41’ and the second is the 38’, both boats raced as Bengal Bay Club at some time
If you look at the cockpit fairing on the 38' you will see it is the same as the pictures of the turbine boat and the gunwale edge is cut at an angle

AJ Roberts and Dick Fullam were going to be Cougars agents in America, after Dick died in Key West 85 it all went wrong and all AJ did was screw us and splashed a mould from a clients boat that was in the yard.

Boat 1 Originally raced as the Collection, purchase by the Seahawk team when they moved into Class 1, this boat was 38'
Boat 2 Built for the Seahawk team this boat was 36' went to Europe in 1988
