I found out later it's called pay as you learn. Unless you are a fanatic and need...

Truth About Swine Flu ? Your Opinion ????

It swept through Toronto earlier this year -it's just a really nasty flu with about the same impact as a mild pnuemonia. I've had both - no, not diagnosed and therefore not in the stats like most of us between 6 and 60.

    KE signature rockers

Agreed. I'm more concerned with the quality and strength of the product with this thread, but thanks for the advice. If I was buying rockers today, I would probably go with Comp pro mags...

    Trendz Pushrods?

:boxing_smiley:I'm sure Crane did their homework to recommend a certain size and type of pushrod for a given combo, but is that optimum? :sifone:Hey, I'm a cheapskate and started w 2 early 90's GenV's I found in Kansas for $2500, but $16K later and I'm looking for good quality performance...

    Trendz Pushrods?

I agree larger diameter rods of the same material would be stiffer, but we're really comparing Aluminum to Chrome Moly as well. A large dia aluminum rod with pressed in ends vs a smaller dia chrome moly one piece?

    Trendz Pushrods?

Do you use 3 piece hollow or solid pushrods in your builds? The Crane 139021 (741 for a Gen V) info recommends chrome moly solids...but I started reading and thinking - problem #1:)

    Trendz Pushrods?

Exactly - I just changed a set of stock for CompCams solid pushrods on a mild lift solid lifter cam, and the improvment was remarkable - from idle all the way up. It started me thinking about my beefy new srpings and the "quick ramp" cam... I presume hollow are to reduce weight, but then there...
