    3 blades did not work better on my blackthunder. 4 blades did better. The boat did not like 5 blades. I have a good set of 4 blade merc,s 17.5/29. I have re-rigged my boat with #6's and don't need them anymore. $1,700

    Looks good. Is the boat new? I have a 96 430sc Took off my 3A' and installing dry sump 6's. Gimbles on, hoping to have engines back in next week and in Fl. by end of year to test. What gear ratio are you going to use???

    I am the one with the 3A' from the factory. Been great drives. My boats getting a new tramson because it was loaded with water. Boat was rigged by Bobby Moore not blackthunder. He did not seal the exhaust holes. Bad job. I am re-rigging with #6 dry-sumps. Let you know how it goes. All my 3A'...
