Probably 3000-3500rpms for the engines would be the best efficiency range. WOT rpm should be around 4800rpms.

Just use the gasket. It is thick enough to seal any small imperfections.

If you have already entered a guilty plea via the Ticket Clinic, then you are most likely done and have no recourse. About your only option would be to file an appeal using a real attorney. You could possibly file it based on ineffective counsel.

Never tried it so I do not know for sure. I don't what changed between the Carter, Weber and edlebrock, if anything really. I only had one Weber and I replaced it with a Holley. The Webers were notorious for hard cold starts due to internal leaks in the fuel bowls.

750cfm was the stock cfm on the Qjets and Weber carbs on the Merc(non merc racing) 454/502 engines.

The Carter AFB, Weber and Edlebrock are all the same basic carb and use most of the same parts. The stock Merc carb is 750cfm.

The coolant is just Dex Cool antifreeze. You can get it at any automotive store. It is not the the RV pink stuff.
