I don't think I ever got around to posting pics of the final product. These were from the first test run and from my blackberry, so excuse the bad pic quality. It ran great last year. Blew up my out drive at the end, but have another on and ready to go for the spring. Lots of prop testing...

Geez guys. I get it, my set up is old! :iagree: J/K I have to keep this setup alive as long as possible until I can afford my Bravo swap. I went ahead and went with the Sierra one. I have 3-4hours on it with no problems yet. I will keep my fingers crossed. :hurray:

Been a while since any updates....here are some. I will be on the water by next week testing. I have it a little more together now, I was just too tired to take any more. You also have to deal with my Black Berry's crappy camera.

Sorry, I guess I should have given more specifics. It is a SBC Alpha Drive with presumably 450ish hp. I am going to do a bravo swap in the fall/winter and need it to get me through the rest of this year. How well would a stock one hold up under these conditions. This will be a pretty mild year...

I am getting ready to put in my stroker and figured I might as well replace the coupler while I am in there. My question is, are the Sierra replacement couplers on par with the Mercruiser couplers? They are much easier to locate in stock. But I am worried about the price being so much lower...

Well, I went ahead and went with a standard set of MSD wires. I can't see any reason the wires should not work. I got the Thunderbolt specific cap kit, so that should hold me over until I get the full MSD set up.

If you can find a part number that would be great. I tried calling their tech line and they had no idea. Thanks for the help!
