I used to have a 454/330 on my Alpha and had just over 1000 hours on it

Ijust emailed Latham. Brand new a year ago, but it has been the same. It doesn't wiggle at the drive. I can turn it with the motor off easily. (@ the wheel)

We do the same.... and are concerned @ customer satisfaction. Especially in these times, we are price and quality concerned. Give me a picture, and I'll print it. Boat wraps are no problemo too!!

It's new a year ago and hasn't changed.

I have full hydrolic stering and find it hard to turn right when running. It turns easy to the left. It seems a little loose feeling when I turn right. Easy to turn when it is going slow. This is a single ram on a 22 Donzi. Do you think my lines are crossed?

You won't believe it. When I loosened the exhaust and intake valve, I also leaned the carb because I was way too rich. Well, I over leaned it. I richened it back to where it supposed to be, and it is running perfect. The compression came up on 8 cylinder as well. All cylinders are within 8...

I had a 454/330 and put a over a thousand hours on it and never missed a beat. I changed my motor because I wanted more power. I wouldn't do it again, it was the best motor. I will tell you I highly maintained it!

Are those short threads or long?

What plugs go in a 502/500hp? I have used the Delco MR 43 T and the marina recommended an NGK. It has longer threads than the Delco. Will the longer threads work and maybe this is why I have been backfiring.:sifone:

It is still backfiring:sifone:It seems to happen now after 30 minutes running time and after 3000 rpm plus. the backfire is every 3-7 minutes running over 3000rpm. Now, seems to be worse at high end too.....I don't get full rpm and it is very rough sounding. Help I can't take this...

If you have a thermostat with a crossover pipe, make sure you have 3 5/32 holes drilled on the sides of the thermostat.
