I think broke back mountain motor fountain got off lucky with just being told to remove the fly wheel. they should have broke the motor down for sure. kinda makes you wonder then who re-sealed it. so i guess it really was going 103, lol, but, i bet the other v-lites would be just as fast...

i believe it was a zero balance aluminum fly wheel. aluminum fly wheel at the very least.

has there been any comments from the busted back mountain motor fountain? just curious as what kind of excuses they have.

dont forget the high rpm ecu they are running, and you might want their motor that goes with the fly wheel in question.

are you saying the flywheel was a zero balance flywheel indicating an internal balanced motor which indicates a modified motor?

what time do the races start today? will the fountain be allowed to race with the illeagal aluminum fly wheel?

how many rpm ecu? i doubt it happens. but i would like to see the motor torn apart. ill put money there is more to be found inside. and if the fountain has been legal all season, and so much faster than the other v-lites, why put in a hi rpm ecu and aluminum flywheel for just one race? oh...

lets see. the fountain has been able to out accelerate all the other v-lites all season and at the same time have more top speed than any of them, also seems to sound like its turning more rpms at wot, weighs more too. like i said in another post long ago. the boat is either more efficeint...

I think its more like this: " We pull out a mothballed mold from a discountined hull, MODIFY THE HELL OUT OF IT, CLAIM ITS NOT BEEN MODIFIED, DONT LET ANYBODY INSPECT IT, THREATEN TO SUE IF THEY DO, TURN UP THE RPMS, USE A DRIVER WHO SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE SPORT, POUR HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS...

spec racing is all about setup, driving/throttling and fair racing. if somebody refused a tech inspection, they are hiding something. its that simple. i bet most of the svl racers would not have any problem with the other racers, inspectors climbing all over there boats to take a look.
