Thats a deal. Race a boat for a weekend, let somebody else deal with all of the mechanical end of things, and get a tax writeoff (if you put your company name on the boat)! I have heard of people getting local sponsors to help cover the costs. One thing for sure, the bats will get attention!

I totally agree. For most, they just do not realize the speed. This is exactly why we need a race back at Lake of the Ozarks! I know it is not "offshore", but plenty of spectators on and off the water, and the "closeness" really makes the perspective of speed come out.
