Yes, reading has never been a problem, thanks for the concern though. Why don't you send the data? Whatever you have, I'd love to see it. And no I didn't stop by, cause I was 1000 miles away.
Its should!!! I'm sure he's comparing his petroleum product that he previously used, to the new synthetic. Of course its gonna be better, but once again, where is any data on these products? I'm not saying they aren't a good product, but would love to see some data to support the theory and...
I can't agree anymore. I've asked for data sheets or even some comparison charts, and the answer I was given was it takes time to get those. Well, supposedly they've been around since, I believe, 1986, so, how much longer should we wait?
All I can tell you is, it hasn't fallen on deaf ears.
Now does AMSOIL recommend MCF in outdrives, not necessarily. See AMSOIL will recommend the best product for the application, doesn't mean that there aren't a few others that will do the job also.
Also, if you're looking for simply the...
And just for that record, Teague uses the AMSOIL MCF 10w-40 Motorcycle oil in his outdrives, and has for the last 4 seasons I believe. Oh yeah, and after speaking to my person at AMSOIL INC., Marine Severe Gear hasn't fallen on deaf ears......
Rage,
I know you're concerned with water pollution and that maybe the AGM isn't as strong as the Severe Gear. I spoke with my driveline person at AMSOIL Inc today, and I agree with him. Test your OEM products against that AGM Marine Gear lube. I'm sure you can't find any tests on any of those...
Personally I wouldn't use a K&N on my kids powerwheels. If you can see through an air filter, its useless. They're great for racing purposes, for the guys that tear down and replace on a consistent basis. However, they don't stop the fine particles in the atmosphere. There is a reason that...
Yes, typically, if you do all three of those things, it will end all problems. The two biggest are the Studs and Oil Cooler. But since either the motor will be out of the truck or cab is removed, you may as well do all of them, and maybe new injectors.
But did your trailer trim switch still work for down? Because mine does. I'm thinking its my Trim Limit Senders on the drives. I just had a brand new Livorsi Triple Switch put in, so I know its not that.
I'll try to explain this the best way I can. First of all I have bravo X drives. While on plane, I can't adjust my drives down (tucked) without raising them to the limit first. I can override it by using my trailer trim switches but don't like to have do that!. Any ideas why I have to hit...
