yep, thats a true shame. I have heard it still sits as in the pics. If any boat in the sport deserves to be resurected thats the holy grail right there. Anyone know where it is? i have seen other views of it and it looks savable. any other pics burned or not?

sorry for the thread hyjack Marc.

couple more

my buddy joe helped with all the air brushing on that boat. Pictures cant do it justice for all the attention to detail on that boat. Absolutly breathtaking!!!! Some where I have an article on it in a pin stripper book. I'll try to find it. Even the tailer had head dress beads painted on it. Man I would love to see someone bring that boat back. If I hit the lottery that could be my new project

There was a 36 that got burnt when it was repod. The owner was not giving it up. So I heard from a good source. It got a new deck in Ga.

Billy. ps. Montys was cool. My girl had a blast.

Montys is alway fun. I'm glad that you guys enjoyed your visit as well.

I have been looking for that article since i first saw the boat. That is actually why i think this is one of the greatest graphics jobs ever. Sure it may not be everyones "cup-o-tea" but from a technical stand point it is truly unbelievable. It was done before plotter style graphec and was pretty much free taped and cut. Simply amazing. Who is your friend and what shop was it done at? Just curious as i find it fascinating.

I understood the number was around a million was spent on that boat a friend of mine who is not easily impressed saw it and was floored by the paint work on it.
