Funds Brave restore thread

Hey John, it's been 5 weeks since my surgury for the broken collarbone. Doctor told me all is well and I can ditch the sling and work on getiing my range of motion back. I'm looking at getting out on the boat about Aug 14. How's your boat doing? You want to meet up for a dual test cruise? :ack2:

I have hesitated to set a finish date, but we are close enough now that I can say we could be testing by then. I wouldn't mind the buddy system, just in case.
It would be nice to see you guys.
Congrats on the news from the doc.

I remember when I broke my collarbone, it felt funky for a long time. Even after it was healed.

Looks like we can attempt it then. No promises but something to work towards. Glad to hear your boat is coming along. Who's installing the engines?

Greg is putting them in. He has been a friend for a while. I have done R and Rs before, but he's got the right tools.

It's always easier to have it done by someone else. R & ring a couple of engines on a 90 degree weekend is not my idea of fun. Hope it's done soon. :)

In July 2007, July 2008 seemed reasonable...didnt happen until August 2009.

And Im still waiting on my fuking engines....

The sickening part is that Ive seen a handfull of perfectly good running on a trailer 35 flatdecks for sale for less that I spent in parts.

My buddy just bought a running 357 Forumula for less than what I have in a pair of un dressed small blocks.

This is the money you could save switching to Bayliner...
