I'm all for it. Use every available piece of technology we have at our disposal, I say!
To heck with the ACLU and those who oppose it. I'd rather travel soundly knowing that there's no where left to hide anything, than worry about some privacy.

Wow. That's a good one. I think that I could argue effectively for either side.
But, I guess that I already know that I am fat, so if the federal government finds out... so be it. As long as they don't link up with the national health care and call it an MRI.

Right on Mac, I have noth'n 2 hide but I'm afraid my phone may start ring'n off the hook from all the porn people!!!!!:biggrinjester:

they already have plenty of chicks in the industry. :bump:

on topic, im all for it as long as it has the potential to make me and my family safer.

I'm all for it. Anyone that would be against it either has something to hide.....or is a flaming ACLU loving liberal!!

It would make for some interesting court cases with people who are charged with drug possesion after being caught with a bag of weed or coke in their undies or bra!!

yeah, you could'nt get away with that any more

Apparently on further reading, Congress is going to require that genital areas be automatically blurred, seems that would defeat the purpose, especially in the case of the Nigerian underwear bomb this week:cuss:

Is this the same as a cat scan. Wasn't there something in the news last week about CAT's linked to cancer now.
Would suck to be a frequent flier

Here's an idea, two lanes at the airport.

Full body scan and on your flight in 20 minutes
or

2-3 hours in line for regular screening along with shoe and belt removal and body frisks which I now hear are very thorough...yuk

Not like a cat scan though it may deserve some more study. Cat scans are whole body x-rays and contribute to your total lifetime radiation dosage as does air travel for that matter (about 100 times the level encountered at ground level)

Who makes these things?

Because until you have them installed at every single airport terminal in the world, the bad guys will find, and use, the path that provides the weakest link to security.
