That would be hilarious except for the fact that English majors are more employable than any other degree right now, because of the lack of communication skills among traditional tech or business candidates. In fact, liberal arts degress in general have come much more into favor as candidates need to come with the ability to understand and communicate while most tasks can be taught on the job.

I know a girl in St Pete who got her MBA from Tampa College, who was working at the same time as my sister's bank, won student of the year, is the smartest woman I've ever met, and she is unemployed right now.

I know a girl in St Pete who got her MBA from Tampa College, who was working at the same time as my sister's bank, won student of the year, is the smartest woman I've ever met, and she is unemployed right now.
I am sorry to hear that. Although it makes my point. But, it sounds like she is someone that you can't hold back for too long.

I saw her for the first time in 13 years about a month ago. Her best friend, who was my ex girlfriend ,just died of cancer. I went to St Pete to attend her memorial. Any company that hires Annie had done the company a big favor.

No offense, it came from Jimmy Fallon...pretty much sums it up. My ed came from the school of hard knocks. Some night classes while working full time from age 18...have my own business and self-supported for 20 years now. Just hope we can survive this downturn...

It is funny. It's just that the work world is changing faster than Jimmy's writers can go.
Actually... I worked and didn't graduate until I was 30, going part time. Then, when I did graduate I was self-employed for 5 years. Self-employment separates the men from the boys. My Dad used to think that every man should be in the military for a while to learn how things work. I think that everybody should be self employed for a while. It turns them into really good employees if they ever go back to working for someone else... because they really get it.
I hope we can survive it too... because my business relies on people like you who have created jobs, created opportunity and created wealth.
