Obama speech to the kids.

My granddaughter is only 7, but we were not comfortable with this indoctrination speech from Chairman Obama that was planned for Tuesday. You got to love Texas. :USA: Our school district just announced that they were not going to interrupt the children's school day by broadcasting the speech. Problem solved.

Good, it's right out of the Chairman Mao book of how to win friends and influence future communists...........

It's more like the book Animal Farm. In the beginning the (evil) pigs took in the little puppies. Later those puppies became the "enforcer dogs" of the pigs.

Personally I don't see a short speech by Obama to elementary school children as much of a threat. I am much more afraid of his liberal politics. By the time those kids can vote, I will be long dead. :p

It's a treat for the long term future of our country.

Proper brainwashing of future zealots begins at an early age. Review the schools in China and the schools in Muslim countries where future terrorists are created. This is the first step in a future where the next great socialist experiment is to take place.

They are counting on no opposition at this time. Then the next, and the next, etc.

This should be opposed in the greatest possible way, including keeping kids out of school if the school is going to participate.

His speeches are like watching a fish flopping around on the dock gasping for air.

His speeches that he has time to rehearse and memorize, with no questions asked, are moving at the very least. He is a threat not to be taken lightly. He has already nationalized the Auto Industry, Banking, Investing, Car Loans and Leasing, Tobacco, and now is going after Health Care and the Drug Industry.

You start with the young, this is as disturbing as anything he's done so far.

I think that Bush "nationalized" AIG and most of big banking. Bush started this mess. Obama has just made it worse. Much worse.

Some are moved. I'm not moved. And it's not the oration of which I speak, it's his ideas, and his clumsy fumblings with his policy that dictates out fate; he's gasping for air. He's now again on his second vacation in as many weeks - shall we start calling it Bidencare?

It really depends on content. Is it a policy speech or a "get good grades" speech. That pt still remains to be seen.

One of my concerns was that the White House suggested that the children write to themselves about how they could help the president. Kids are impressionable at that age...and a question like that implies that a child has to agree with the president. A better question would be something to the effect about whether or not they agree with what the president had to say, and could they come up with their own ideas and thoughts about what the president had to say. They need to teach these kids think for themselves, not go along like robots.

My parents - who are escapees of the former U.S.S.R's iron fist on post WWII Europe - are beginning to get very uneasy concerns with this socialist bobblehead.
This is how it began; and it begins with children.

Yeah, but some of this goes as far back as the Clinton admin. The Clinton administration went too far in its drive increase home ownership for people that couldn't afford it in the first place. This disaster we are in right now has been brewing for some time now and the way it is going about being fixed is the wrong way. :USA:

I agree with all of you.

What I'm saying is this is a very significant step in a socialist/communist/cultist agenda. Do not underestimate what teachers and politicians can do to young children with just words and teachings.

Talk to some of the Cuban Immigrants. This is exactly the way Castro started. Dave
