Official Penguin Encounter 09 thread

The weekend's fun and festivities would not have been possible without Apache Rob, ChiefApache, skramer, sasha cig, mkramer, phragle, and of course Beth and the kids. This group went all out to make sure David, Kim and their kids had a GREAT time. The smiles on the faces after a few miles in an Apache or Cigarette will last for a long long time. The time spent with family and friends is priceless and irreplaceable!

Thanks everyone!!!

Nice. What length? I was dealing on a Fittipaldi Scarab when I found the KV.

I think 31? Like a stinger 312. Used to have the arch on it too. I think he has that at home in the garage.

It was our pleasure Adam................Rob and I had a great time also!!!

On our way down Saturday to White Sands we had phragle, pengy and pengy's son (he's 8 or 9yo) with us. Lake was flat. :( No fun in an Apache. We slowed down so MKramer, Skramer and inbetween passed up so we could cross their wakes and feel a little something under the Apache. When we did that Rob hit the throttles and we were doing about 4400RPM.

David taps me on the shoulder and there's his son in the back seat with a grin so big.....it was priceless.

On the way back, his girls and wife rode back with us. The girls, who barely speak, were the same way with the grins on their faces.

It was a great, great weekend. Our thanks to Adam and Beth for letting David and I run amuck with the weekend. :biggrinjester:

I have lots of pics also. Will post from NC. Heading home in the morning. Today we relax/recover and have a family dinner with the aunts.
