28 Cigarette SS project boat LUCKY STRIKE's old 28

What a crying shame that was left like that and someone added that arch. $600 may be too much.

60K might bring it back to life.

Oy vay, that guy should spend $30 for two jugs of gasoline and finally put that thing out of its misery.

That boat is a LOOONG way gone. I really like the 28 cigs though. Are they cored or solid glass? I am sure all the structure needs replaced at the minmum.

I am not sure Trim. I would guess cored, but that would be just that, a guess. I also don't know if structure stringers are or would be damaged. Boat drained while it sat, no water accumulated in it.

I may take a closer look at it myself when I get time. They borrowed my trailer to move it, while I was away on vacation, now that is where it sits about 15mi from my house. I have not been to the boat or seen it in 2 years since I took all the pics you see. But for what he wants if stringers and transom are solid I may buy it myself.

Got it...I talked to your friend today also...Tell him to dump it:biggrinjester:
:ack2: I wish he would, I'm getting kinda tired of the whole thing, answering questions and dealing with people RE: the condition. :(

Believe it or not, there is another side to why it's in the condition it's today ... and it is not a pleasant one and not his fault either. People see what they see and assume things, so there is no sense explaining cuz as I said earlier ... It is what it is.

Sounds like it would be an interesting story. That's what this place is all about, so spill the beans!
