Old Guitar Gear?

I've got a few things sitting on the shelf for years now, and thinking about dumping them, Where's the best place to list them?
And what do you think they are worth?

Gallien-Krueger 250 RL?
ADA MP-1?

I did a little poking around, and there seems to be some diehards out there for both of these items.
So what are the values of them? Or do I hold onto them and let them age a while longer?
I haven't touched either in about 10 years.

Have some ADATs, a DAT, several Lexicon effect units, a couple of Alesis.
A pair of Mackie HR824 powered monitors. A pair of B&W 601s.
(Abbey Road was mixed on B&W 801s)

Ebay seems like a viable option.

Yep, I was doing the same.

The MP-1 had a midi controlled pedal that was about 2' wide - optional.
I had one, but one of the buttons broke on it, and I'm not sure if I still have it around here or not. It was kind of a PITA because it required it's own power - so you had to drag a power cord across the stage to use it live.:dupe:

Doing some digging, both seem to be "sought after items" out there.
I sold my Marshall 4x10 angled cab a few years ago, and in retrospect, I think I gave it away. Don't want to make that mistake again, but I'm incredibly out of touch with the musical gear scene now...

I sold my old Mini Moog that didn't even work on e-bay for $1,850.00. It had been sitting in a closet for over 20 yrs. Then after that I sold my old Multi Echo and a bunch of other foot peddles (analog) for really stupid money.
I now have my 1977 Les Paul Custom that I bought new on there along with my Strat.
I have really dumb reserves on them to be safe but I will get to see where they go.

I traded my Les Paul Custom Silverburst back in the late eighties for an Eddie Van Halen Kramer Beretta. Stupidest thing i ever did and have no idea what i was thinking. I still have it and i actually do like the way it plays but its value is just a few hundy now compared to three to four grand for the custom. D'OH! :ack2: and i think there something wrong with the VH Baretta because i sound nothing like Eddie

I'm not sure if I should just hang on to the amp and pre-amp for awhile.
Guys are out there raving about the ADA, and ADA is defunct.
Might be of more value in a few more years.

I don't ever plan on using them again.

I know what yer saying about not selling the Strat. I hate the thought of them going away but I have tried to start playing again and I have found that my fingers hands just haven't got what it takes anymore and I don't hear like I used to eather, sucks getting old. I have a couple flat tops I can play with now and then. I also got to thinking who would get them if I were to tip over next week? I have no one in my or the wifes family who would apperciate them so if they sell I will use they money to do what I can still be creative with and that is build me a wild street rod. Thats what I used to do along with makeing music so I'm going to have some fun.

I had a guy set that strat up and spent alot of bucks to get it to work like it does. You can whale on the whammy bar and it will not go outa tune and moves silkie smooth. The sustain is awsome.

Cool! I had a VOX Super Beatle with the chrome frame so you could tilt it back and a Gibson SG with a foxy lady fuzz and Morley pwr wha. It was so cool, wish I still had that:drool5:

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

Is there some correlation between rock musician and offshore powerboats?
There must be: Loud, obnoxious, want the attention of being seen.
I've actually gotten past all of those, and just still like the boats.

Some of the crowd hasn't gotten past that part yet.
