Um, Hello anyone here

Where the hell is everyone. I hope that you all are getting the boats ready for the water and don't have time to get on the computer. Let's see some updates on projects or paint schemes or something. Tell us what you are changing or wanting help with to change. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

I pass through here now and then! I have the trailer wheels, brakes and bearings done. Still need to do some exhaust shutters. Got impellors done,

Just saw Sea-N-Red on the way down the road to the Island.

I was down there slave driving Muffy to get my ride ready for tomorrow. 30th bday party for his wife tomorrow at Gilligan's- booze, band, buffet and hopefully beads!

Are you talking about the external flappers

No, the water shutters are the internal flappers for the silent choice "Y" pipe. I think I have talked myself into stripping the paint off of my 496 exhaust risers while I have them off to get at the y pipes. They look nice all polished up.

I didnt do anything over the winter to mine. But I always check in here to see the new posts. I did take mine out for the first time yesterday and it ran flawlessly... woohooo.

I painted over my pink stripes with a silver paint. After that I replaced my Sonic sticker on the deck and then added Sonic stickers to both port and starboard sides towards the aft. Glass Dave did a great job replicating the stickers, thanks Dave.

Wow, you guys are doing awesome things. I just finished the new fuel system, rebuilding the carbs, adding spacers, adding crossovers and powder coating a few things. Ready for Memorial Day weekend now!!! Wooohoo.

Next big thing for me is to have the rub rail replaced and the damn headliner fixed. Hopefully I can do some paint work over the winter... although I dont really need to , everything is in good shape, but I want to make it my own.

Have you seen any increase in speed by using crossovers?

I'll let you know this weekend. We are taking it out Saturday. But I also rebuilt the carbs, rejetted them, added spacers, and a new fuel system. So IF there is a speed increase, I'm not sure where to attribute it.

Good point, multiple changes at once makes it unclear which one provides the most benefit. Anyways I'm sure the boat will be faster so have fun this weekend and post your results.
