I have used LED sets a little bit. I think that the Samsungs are one of the best out there now. The new sets are night and day better then last years. The Samsungs are also only just over 1" thick! At the size of these two theaters however you need the projectors still.

I'm not that big. Running a 60" Elite right now, but it's gettin old and lookin at LCD's, Plasma's, and now the LED's. Tough to beat the new Elite from what I've seen though.
The new Elites are going bye bye. They stopped making TV's a few months ago. Once inventory is gone then that is it.

a friend of mine has done the projectors for a few years now. it is insane to watch football on a 120" screen in his living room. He just got a new HD projector, and new blueray player. It is just amazing the detail and clarity of the new projectors. Your room looks insane. Something I should start saving money for now

When we built the component room we made it the size of a closet with a glass door.
We mounted all the electronics on a wire rack 5 shelf unit on wheels and 6 ft of slack in the rear of the cupboard for power cables and speaker wires.
I've noticed that when I open the door of the room I feel how warm it is in there.
Have you had cooling problems with these rooms. Stupid me didnt put an airconditioning vent in it.
How much heat can these electronic units take.
Don't want to have it so that door has to be left open.
Thoughts ???

Sorry for the delay, I missed your questions. Heat as you may have guessed is your equipments enemy. There are a few ways to handle it. One of the best is to use remote bathroom cooling fans. Get the fan as far away from the theater as you can to keep noise down. Make sure you cut enough opening at the bottom of the door to allow air into the closet. Some times you can just cool the rack with out a fan. It depends on how hot it is getting. Have you taken any measurements?
