Cool old school race boat on ebay

Don't know (don't think so though, isn't that Black Sunday, disappeared in PR) but it would be a crime if they painted a black gel boat white...

Same boat?

This Pantera was the sister boat to Black Sunday, she was raced by Mark Poker [Cat Can Do 28' Skater] & Big Wave Dave now the driver of [Reliable One 40' Skater] & the late Bill D all From Lake St Clair Michigan. Pepe said this one went to Europe and is M.I.A. now.

Went and looked at the other site and looks like Mange and Duunoit thought this boat was originally black though. Damn shame...

I navigated in OPA! The same owner still owns it, He is a member here goes by OPA he also has a classic 24' Pantera. He is from Michigan

I think the deck of the 24 is hanging from the ceiling of the bar, or atleast it was last time i was up there

Bill [OPA] has 2 1/2 24' Panteras and one bad Big block twin eng 28' Pantera. The 1/2 one is the deck of the old Double Cross thats hanging in his bar, the hull went to the PRESSURE ON race team.

Talked to Big Wave Dave today and he said the black P-21 had Gill brackets and the older Black Sunday did not, she still had the outboard transome well.

This boat has the SMI style bracket on it. The photos I saw on OSO, the inside of the boat was black (forward bulkheads and whatnot).

Thanks for the destinction on that. The second picture Mark posted looked like it could have said Black Sunday (the one that was supposedly in Puerto Rico) when I looked at it quick. You'd figure with only having to keep track of a few hundred boats, we'd know where they all went! :D

This boat in Freeport would be a good buy at 20K.
Maybe the engines are decent, or you're looking at 45k+ to repower w/ new.
Paint it all black w/ a new black interior... it'd be pretty slick.
But, by the time you're done if it needs new power.. you might as well go new.

this Pantera was up in Alex Bay NY for a while. Last I was told it sold and went to MA

loved the boat and wanted to make a deal.... but like I've heard, ya gotta look at it as if it's got no power on it when your making an offer. The g/f hated it... but o-well... it was all me....
