Rick how do you come up with the 200 bucks? Seriously bro. 350 is a gift. How can you not see that? I would love nothing more to close this chapter so that we can all move on but honestly look at the job, the number of days and the cost of all the wire. Do us all a favor and go over to West Marine and see how much all that wire alone costs. The 350.00 makes us whole for the wire and parts I put in the boat. I will right off the flight as we did do the Havasue thing. Pay the 350 then get it back in booze the next time I fly out there. No one wants this to be over more then I do.

I must say that the comparison to Troutly was a bit much. That's a whole different league.
I was not comparing him to Troutly by ANY means. I was saying when you talk about people that did people wrong those are the names that always come up. I would not even compair LDD with Troutly and he took that guy for over 12 grand.

Honestly guys, it is most likely both parties are at fault. I would bet that $750 was not presented in a clear manner before the fact putting Audiofin at fault. Second, I am sure Audiofin had all of $750 into the job and I think the satement about going down to west marine or taking it to a local installer and getting a quote would more than confirm this making Rick at fault too . I say paying the $350 and even the fact that Audiofin is offering that to settle this is a very stand up offer.

$350 to gain some character, and you're trying to negotiate to $200????
That'll barely fill the gas tank in the truck.
Hell, I've had people send me parts they didn't need that would value way over the $350 range, because they didn't need them, and they didn't even ask for shipping. ( Thanks to Joe Murray FR311)
I sent some stuff out to Jon just last week, and I'm not looking for money (or shipping) - just stuff I don't need, and he could use, or add to a collection.

You can't buy character. Discount or no.
But with it.... decisions like this one are so easy.
I wouldn't send Jon a check for 350 to buy back my character. I would send him 350, because I knew that I owed it to him. Forum or no. A man with character would "man up" if they were the last two on earth.
