Royal Navy Uses Drug Smuggler's Boat for Target Practice
    #1
Just saw this after following a link [BBC News] - somewhere off the South American coast...

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8163293.stm

"A statement from the Ministry of Defence said drugs with a street value of £33m were seized and the traffickers arrested before the speedboat was destroyed."

Wouldn't a gas can and a match be a lot cheaper?? Damn they need a scope on that big gun, how many shots does it take to sink one little boat.

A lot Opportunity for target practice, All those pieces end up floating rather than scutteling the hull intact. We always brought the boats back as evidence.

Close counts in a lot of things and that thing isnt exactly a pressission rifle. The spray and pray mentality has worked efectively for years.
