After the Shore Dreams event yesterday (which was the best one yet), I had a chance to run the Statement.

I've run every type and model of boat out there. V's and cats. There is nothing that is even in the same league as this boat. Period.

It's like going from a station wagon to a Lambo. The other builders should be worried.........

It's a remarkable boat for sure. That boat is ahead of it's time.

You want me to break it down by model and color? LOL.

You would'nt spill your drink at 110 mph in a 2' chop. It's that insane.

Chit, I didn't spill a drink in a two foot chop with my 302 Formula. It would run 55 in a three foot chop without holding the steering wheel, which made me a tad nervous on my water test of it,

You were doing 55 Cuda, not 110.

This boat CRUSHES whatever the baddest boat you've been in. OL's, MTI's, Cig's etc etc

I'm sure it would have ridden just as well at 110. Just a lot less bucks.

Everyone has great things to say about this new boat.
Timing is everything. Let's hope they sell some - are they building any orders yet?

    Thumbs up
    Bill,
I must say it was quite a comfortable ride.

These images were shot at 106 without my image stabilizer lens across a nice chop in the Barnegat Bay after the wind has been blowing it up all day.

After riding in an epoxy vee a few years ago, I suggested a floating floor idea to a builder. Actually not knowing myself to how to go about it, I threw an idea out there with a suggestion of possibly using the gel they use for resting your wrist at the computer. It was just a thought...

Obviously STATEMENT has figured out exactly how to float the cockpit on a suspension and it seems to work very well.

Congrats to them for taking majority of the impact out of the seating area of the boat.

    Question
It is a very good looking boat, I love the deck and the way it all comes togeather in the back.
I have asked this before and got no answers so I will ask again.
Has anyone seen how the cockpit is suspended? How do they keep it from chaffing, rubbing against other parts of glass? Is it serviceable? How long will it last and is it covered for repair if it breaks.
These would be serious questions I would think and no one has addressed them.
I can't aford one so maybe thats why I don't get answers but after all threads about how great they are and I am not saying they aren't, this suspenion thing has to the reason from what I have read and heard it is a 39 Extreame hull and no one ever had this much to say about them.
So now I am ready for my beating.

I don't know any of the technical details but when they explained it to me last month they said there are airbags underneath, kind of like air suspension on a truck. Given the durability of airbags on a truck I would assume it has a long service life!!

when you look in the cockpit you can't tell it's a floating cockpit until someone points it out for you, it's pretty slick!
