I am looking for a Scarab 38KV Boat model, I have a couple of the 1/36 Monogram plastic models already--I am looking for the Dumas Kit, or maybe a 55" Shockwave painted up to look like my Full Scale MV edition.

Anyone know where I could look- (I already check E/bay etc..)

There were actually two. One with the flat/straight across the windscreen and one with the Vee. Which hull do you have?

I have a Monogram that I haven't built yet, and after seeing what that one on e-bay went for I may not.

I have all three versions of the Monogram kits, the Miami Vice one always sells for "High Dollar" because of the "Miami VIce Geeks" as I call them tha tmakes them collectable.

I am trying to get a nice model of my boat to display on top the Big Screen TV.

Cos if you need a Vice kit, I've got some. As far as the Dazzlement kit goes....build it. They only bring 15-30 on ebay. Dazzlement was modeled after a 377 (not a KV) that is still kept in Chicago to this day. Monogram has a new version of the kit that is due out next month

The Dazzlement boat pic with the V windshield is what I was talking about. I have that one with the raised hatches like the Vice with a Picco 90. Has the rails etc and looks exactly like the 39 Scorpion.

I also have a bud's Vice boat with a gas motor here I'm workin on for him.

On that , see where the two boat pics have the V windshield and the model has the flat? My Dumas model has the V.

I've got the complete Dumas kit and hardware for it. Forgot I had it until a few months ago. Don't know how I lost track of a 6' box in my train room

The boat belongs to the owners of Ateco Engines in Chicago. It has a set of 725's
