Well, finally have a little time to write about our trip and post a few pics. Had a great time at one of the events on my must see list. Sunny Isles reputation has been a great one, and this year it worked out to where I needed a break from the crazy hours at work, and some friends from here were gonna be there.

Nice to meet many of you for the first time. And great to see those of you I don't get to see enough of.

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale Thursday at around 5, rented a car, and drove to the Newport where we had a room reserved. Of course, like all good things, (maybe because we were planning on seeing Gino while there), the room was wrong, and we got what was left over for the first couple of days. At least they comped us some.

A view from the first room. Not all that bad.....

Passed Jimbo's on the way down. But our Jimbo wasn't there.

#16... I see a muppet hiding in there It was nice seeing you and Terri again, wish I could have spent more time! working these things is like running around like a chicken with his head cut off. A lot of people I wanted to meet but was just too busy running around. I went margarita hunting sunday evening but you guys had all ready headed for dinner, so I had a beer with Mark and Jennie. Realizing Dennis Rodman was standing behind me at one point was a definite trip and I did finally get to meet Gino (lubejobs) *meeting Gino could explain the whole Spirit Air thing* Met Wayne Newton, I mean Reggie too......

We came back and were in the bar until about 1:00.

We walked up to Dennis and said hi the day before. His hands are about the size of my head......

He was at the hotel a lot. Don't know if he was staying there or not.

Sunday nite was an early one, had to get up at 3:30 to make the flight home, and sitting out on the course in an open boat all day baking took a lot out of me, I was whooped. I was a sweet boat though!

He ran pretty well. Talked with Tyler for quite awhile Sunday night. He's still learning the boat and how to turn it. Jim and he were really discussing the differences between the abilities of the different designed Fountains.

Yep, it was a great time. Wish I could have hooked up with you while there. How did you enjoy the run to Bimini and back?????
