Cigarette Sales Spark in the U.S.
    #1
I know we're are so very far from out of the woods, but http://www.boats.com/boat-content/20...ic-sales-push/.

Seems like a few of the higher-end builders are doing well. Fingers crossed that it continues.

Heh-heh ... well, now I know what brand of boat CDOWNS owns.

What I've always appreciated about Tim Gallagher and Skip Braver at Cigarette is that they tend to talk straight to me. They're pretty candid. For example, in the past few two years Skip is one of the few builders who's actually been willing to give me a percentage of decline in business, whereas many will say, "The industry is horrible, but we're doing great."

    Uh, yeah.

Again, this industry is still deep, deep in the woods. But a little sunlight creeping through is welcome.

Skip and company are really 1st class. Whatever Skip promises....he delivers! And unfortunately there are not too many of those folks in our industry. He is definitely one of the few!

Congrats to Cig!!!! Good news!!! I wonder what the numbers of sales in the US are? All boat builders are down from the past but what would they consider to be good now? From where they once were I hope this only continues with time...
