Times have definitely changed, but that isn't stopping high-performance builders from setting goals, http://www.boats.com/boat-content/20...boats-in-2010/.
This should be an interesting discussion.

03-01-2010 10:21 PM70 is 5.83 boats a month. They sold 5 at the show so February got covered. The 35/38's are nice and the fish boats are a viable platform so it is an agressive goal but achievable. The 43's and small boats are the unknown (as in it is unknown if they can sell any reasonable amount of them).
I suspect their biggest issue is the reluctance of dealers or even potential dealers to floorplan boats after seeing boats suffering from "lot rot" 2-3 years and still not selling until the bank repo'd the floorplan and wholesaled the line.

I really hope they follow this plan! It has been rumoring around the past year or so that they were going to focus more on the "custom" higher end and bring the Donzi name back to where it should be. There is no reason they can't be on the same level as Cigarette and Outerlimits with their quality and craftsmanship. I wish the best to all involved and would love to see that 43 Comp Zr sit down with a wraparound windscreen or a 27 Classic.
