Converting a Race Boat into a pleasure Boat

Things may change seeing as I now have 4 person canopy mold, but either way the single F-16 lid had to be removed and the tube widened 7 inches on each side to allow enough room for a side by side configuration.

Once everything was cut clear we removed the F-16 Canopy, It was pretty heavy - I was a little surprised.

All this work was done on Sunday (8hrs) so I feel we got a pretty good jump on the project, but with work and another race boat this is going to take a while.

Once I rebuild a larger tub I'll look into the 4 person skater canopy I have, If I feel it cannot be attached safely and securely I will attach a fairing I have off another cat and graft that in.

    Ok, I'm back at it....

Ok, we attached the cock pit walls to the deck, lid and bulkheads. Yes this part sucked.. a 6'3 240lbs person does not fit well in a 14in space while fiberglassing..
