I think we're crewed up on the 28, but I've also got a 24 Pantera that isn't doing anything...

Hope so Tom! You see any of the updates in the Pantera section (some major nonsense to weed through but pics and progress updates)? C-69 is the 28 and P-51 is the 24.

What are the odds that I blow the motor in the 28 the week before the ski race?

    Don't start with me Stinson...

Actually I looked it up after I laid down that little piece of lake-boat propoganda and seems like the fastest jet driven (not powered) drag boats are running in the 160 - 170 range while their prop driven bros are running 260 ish...

At the end of the day, it's all still better than riding the bus!

Some old tricks will always work the best I guess!

Ohh We got the new stuff...

Furuno GP 7000 with a reprogam so it instead of updating it at 20times/sec ours is a 50. A non civilian GPS program. and dual screens.

But itīs still mainly for backup or vice versa.
Offshore Racing wasnīt designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.
