Some of the Serious News Team had the opportunity to visit Skater, (and others http://seriousoffshore.com/forums/co...ngine-Builders ) , in January to chat with Pete and see what boats they were preparing for the Miami Boat Show and beyond.
One of the interesting boats in it's early state of progression was the new raceboat for WHM. Here's a couple shots.
Lighter, stronger, special bottom tweaks, can't wait to see it on the race course this spring.....

Oh, we're not done yet!!
There was a boat that had just been sold being prepped to go out the door on the custom tilt trailer. Skater builds all of their own trailers in house.

Truth be known, I dropped my flashlight while checking out a trick sea strainer. It fell underneath the Merc 1350!
