No idea where it is now. The only info I have is that the Thunderchief was 65', powered by two Detroit-Penske diesels (670kW) each coupled to Arneson drives. Top speed as they said was 50 knots. It carried 4500l of fuel and 560l of water.
Price was 1 500 000 German Marks wich was a considerable sum for a boat of that size and power back then.

The 47 Running Brave is now Spirirt of Apache, see above pictures, belongs to Elias DeLaTorre, Tweet Revenge is now Paleface, lives in Ft Liquordale and actually was at Holiday Isle during the Key West run this year.
See Gatlin guns on back, way cool exhaust!

12-11-2008 11:41 PMI just caught those pictures of cheif apache. I had the privilege of standing in that boat at kellys. Great boat. As soon as i get a boat stretcher, mine will look like that.

12-12-2008 01:16 AMIm in florida but i trailored up for labor day. Left out of venetian and spent two days up their and had a blast. It felt good to get back to my roots.
