I would like to mention that doing these tanks takes a long list of materials that i purchase from Douglas Marine / Skater and the list is ..........AT Prime part A & B ,Wax Addtive ,Cobalt ,Styrene ,Fabric and the Witch's Brew (Resin) desigined to withstand Enthanol and this process is for use on Epoxy boats .

09-24-2009 03:48 PMPretty cool Artie!
A few years ago I was at Zul's shop. He showed me a crap load of pictrues of what I believe was his Superboat or something like that where Activator cut the bottom out and put a step in it with a #4 on the back. They made the gas tank in the boat and got some kind of green resin to seal it with. They found the green stuff because they got in touch with some company that makes the new fiberglass tanks they put in at the gas stations.

Hey everybody on these next pics im trying to get the baffles to fit as tight as possible and might i add the tanks were glassed twice because i had to repair the tank's prior to glassing them with all the other materials that are designed for this type of repair .

More pics of the baffles and if there is a gap from side to side it does not matter because the baffles will be glassed in on the sides and bottom .
