Had an '01 4WD with 4 buttons: Auto, 2HI, 4HI, 4LO.
So far only looking at pictures, but seeing '04s with only 3 buttons. Some of these are advertised as "AWD" instead of "4WD". Wondering if they consolidated a button or changed the transfer case. I know there's a difference between the "AWD" as found in the Denali/Caddy and the "AUTO" featured, but otherwise typical, 2-spd case in a "4WD."
Might be self-explanatory once I see it in person, but if it's an "AWD" t-case I won't bother. I want a 4WD. If anybody knows the RPO codes I'd appreciate sharing.

I'm working in client's office tomorrow so may be limited on phone time. Let me know if there's a good or bad time to ring you. I can ring the local number so as not to use up the 800-; I'm "local" KPMP=Pompano.
Thanks Jim.
